LifeSavor & Friends with Dana Farber 

April 2018 Events

As a group, we support two major charitable organizations: Community Servings and Dana Farber.

We support these organizations by throwing our weight behind major programming initiatives and volunteer work, through gift card donations, and playing active roles in fundraising events.

At the end of April (2018) Garrett Harker & Chef Jeremy Sewall are spearheading two major fundraising efforts.

April 26th

On April 26th, Garrett, co-chair of Community Servings’ LifeSavor event, will be hosting 800 guests at the Langham Hotel in order to raise money to provide nutritious meals to homebound critically ill individuals and their families.

LifeSavor, a restaurant community-based fundraiser, starts off with a reception at the Langham Hotel and then brings those 800 donating guests to 80 participating restaurants around the city on that one night!  Each of the participating restaurants donates a multi-course meal with wine pairings for a group of 8 to 10 for dinner.

Our own Row 34, Eastern Standard, Island Creek Oyster Bar and Les Sablons will each have a group of 10 guests joining them on April 26, 2018.

April 28th

On April 28, 2018, Chef Jeremy Sewall will be hosting the Dinner with Friends event at the Hotel Commonwealth.  Friends of Dana- Farber, an all-volunteer community, collaborate with Chef to host 250 guests for an interactive evening.

Chef Jeremy creates a unique culinary experience with fellow chefs for attendees.  Guests mingle with top chefs during the reception, observe as all the chefs collaborate in the kitchen with a live video feed during dinner service, all while raising funds for innovative research and patient care at Dana-Farber and providing services that enhance the Dana-Farber healing environment.
